I’m a singer. I’m a drummer.

I’m a pedagogue and teacher.

If you want to get better, you have to practice. You have to do the “homework.” You have to get in those 10,000 hours. But it’s really not that tedious, boring, or scary. Whether you’re a student, a stay-at-home parent (like myself!), a seasoned professional, or someone with a crazy schedule that “just can’t find the time” - we will develop a plan for you to get the most out of the time you have.

One example of studying music as a busy person: My long-time family friend, Peter Erskine, always told me that in studying jazz drums (and Music in general), “It’s 70 percent listening and 30 percent playing.” Incorporate passive listening into your daily life, it’s your best friend. Put the song on repeat and let it play…
